Well, there she is. Our transportation to the last frontier! It's all packed up and I drove it down to Fort Myers last night so that we can hang out with family for a couple weeks before taking off.
I can't believe that we've downsized so much that it fits into a 7X16' trailer!
Pretty awesome though. I'm excited about getting going now. We've been preparing and working and cleaning for about 3 weeks straight, and I'm ready to get out of this heat and head north. We had the last of 3 yard sales this past Saturday and we did rather well. Still have a couple big items that I think we'll donate to bless someone with. Really wish someone we knew wanted our piano though. Oh well.
God is good and has been extremely faithful to us through of this preparation. We found an amazing house and the owners seem extremely nice. I can't say enough about my existing landlord. Erik has been amazing to work with and extremely trustworthy. I hope I always find someone like him in the future to work with for as long as I rent. Again, God blessed me in that way after having such a terrible landlord the first to around in Lakeland. (Never deal with Emerald Run Appts!)
We went to Highland Park Church for the last time yesterday and service was awesome. It was great to see the band and worship was amazing, but also sad because I really, really loved playing and worshipping there. I pray that we find a church in Alaska where we can fit in and use our talents again in ministry.
God is good!
